Pizza Run…..Originally trial’d in Geelong by our very own Daniel Warfe we now see the Melbourne city edition run by 3065 Dirtbags and Burnzbrigade. The aim of the game is to collect pizza menu’s from various restaurants around the northside area and deliver them back to base. The riders then must create a makeshift pizza from those menu’s and deliver it back to the Museum.
With over 30 riders, they set out scattering in all directions via the online manifest, racing to collect the menu’s! I had the pleasure of chasing down some of the newest members of community Michael and Marcus down Lygon street and beyond.
Its great to see creative events being put together this year, with more people involved and more positive vibes than ever. At this rate 2020 is set to be one of the biggest years for fixed-gear culture here in Melbourne.
“I got into fixed gear because it was a great way to hang out with my mates”

Despite the pizza’s made from the racer’s only being made of paper…. Huw Morgan came through with the goods and delivered a dozen actual pizza’s to everyone’s delight. With that out of the way it was time to reveal the winner, who would receive a custom painted Specialized Langster Pro delicately splattered by Rob Gaines and proudly donated to the cause by Nick Benca.
